    Does Herbal Tea Have Caffeine

    logo
    Food Advertisements by

Herbal teas are beverages with herbal infusions. Compared to different types of tea, such as green tea, white tea or oolong tea, Tisanes are caffeine-free and can be served hot or cold.

Three Reds Digestive Tea 三紅茶 (sānhóng chá), despite its name, is not a black tea. It is simply a decoction of herbs characterized by their red colour. Black and red tea are the same thing.

    Red Dates 紅棗 - Hóngzǎo

This ancient superfood from the Far East is rich with amino acids.

Jujube fruits are sweet and warm and enter the heart, Spleen, and stomach meridians. It tonifies and improves the digestive system's motility.

Choose unpitted red dates because their seeds inherently calm the mind and promote relaxation.

Ziziphus jujube's edible fruits are highly nutritious and contain plenty of vitamin C and minerals such as calcium, phosphorus, iron and magnesium. This dried fruit may delay or prevent cellular damage caused by free radicals in the body.

Those with iron deficiency and anemia will find beneficial effects and improved energy levels from Red Dates.

A daily cup of tea of Red Date Longan Goji Tea is terrific for a woman's health!

    Hawthorn Berry 山楂/红果捞 - Shānzhā

Dried Hawthorn Berry is warm and targets the Spleen, stomach, heart and liver. Hawthorn berries are the most often used herb in the TCM treatment of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. Shan Zha is also a herbal remedy for digestive problems, heart issues, and high blood pressure (alleviates hypertension), lowering cholesterol levels and body fat.

Children and pregnant women or woman breastfeeding shouldn't use hawthorn. It can cause sedation and very low blood pressure at high doses.

    Goji Berries 杞子粒 - Gǒuqǐzi

Gǒuqǐzi in TCM, the Wolfberry nourishes the blood and tonifies the Yin by entering the kidney and liver channels. These unique berries are excellent antioxidants that are excellent for healthy vision.

    Licorice Root 甘草 Gāncǎo

Chinese Licorice Root TCM nature is neutral and is classified under the 'Tonic Herbs for Qi Deficiency' category.

Gan Cao targets the heart, the Lungs, the Spleen and the Stomach. The herb has the functions of invigorating the Spleen and replenishing Qi, eliminating phlegm and relieving cough, relieving spasms and pain, clearing away Heat and detoxification.

High doses of Glycyrrhiza Uralensis should not be used for those who retain water with excess dampness. Potential side effects of ingesting large amounts of licorice can increase blood pressure.

The sweet taste of Licorice also has a tonic effect to slow down acute reactions and detoxify the body.

goji berries, Hawthorne berries, red dates, and organic licorice root

    Instructions

Soak the herbs for 5-10 minutes in a small bowl to remove traces of impurities. This will help remove dust and debris. Rinse and set aside in a small bowl.

Add all the herbal ingredients into a Buydeem Health Beverage Maker. Fill with water and set to Tea Mode.

Although not all Chinese herbs react with metal, it is best not to use a metal pot when making Chinese medicinal herbal soups.

Alternatively, add all ingredients into a small pot, fill it with water, and boil for at least 15 minutes.

Add rock sugar to your desired sweetness. Stir until dissolved.

Serve and enjoy while hot or chilled.

During a hot summer's day, chill the brewed herbal digestive tea in the refrigerator for a refreshing beverage in a large mason jar pitcher.

This delicious tea with potent anti-inflammatory properties can be kept fresh in an airtight container for up to 2 to 3 days in the refrigerator.
