What Are Cordyceps Mushrooms?
Cordyceps Militaris is an affordable alternative to Cordyceps Sinensis. Unlike sinensis, this type of cordyceps mushroom doesn't require insects to grow, offering the same beneficial compounds.
Cordycep flowers are an orange fungus that forms up to 8 cm high. The inner fungal tissue is pale orange to white. Cordyceps militaris is a heterothallic fungus and requires two opposite mating strains to form fruiting bodies.
Fresh Cordycep Flowers have a unique aroma, earthy flavor and amino acids (lysine, glutamic acid, proline and threonine). It's texture is snappy and very toothsome!
Cordyceps mushrooms are prized for their adaptogen nutritional benefits and ability to boost the immune system.
