Red Fermented Bean Curd Lotus Root Spareribs is such a novel recipe (maybe only to me). I have seen lotus roots sold in the supermarket and always wondered how these can be cooked besides boiling them like potatoes. Thanks for the recipe!

Thanks Cesar! So happy that you were able to find this recipe helpful! There are lots of ways to cook Lotus Roots - please don't boil them like potatoes 🙂

Thank you for your chinese soup recipies. Hard to find a site with clear explanation of ingredients in Chinese. Also the health benefits for all the ingredients with links of the description really help. Chinese recipies are always a guessing game to me and the hardest part is finding the ingredients by weird names. Your website solves all my problems.

Thanks Eric for your kind words. I had that problem also when I was cooking, so I use this as my reminder also 🙂
