Yue Restaurant 鮑粵軒 Richmond | Dim Sum & Chinese New Year Specialties

Yue Restaurant 鮑粵軒, formerly known as Yue Delicacy 鮑粵軒私房菜, is and award-winning Canton-Chinese restaurants in Richmond. The expanded location provides a grander dining experience compared to its former intimate environment. Still, Yue Restaurant offers the same unique delicacies, speciality dishes and high-quality ingredients for those looking for a refined Cantonese Cuisine.

If you’ve been following @instanomss on Instagram, then you would have already seen the behind-the-scene footages IG stories and how delicious the food is.

I was invited to a media tasting at Yue Restaurant for their dim sum tea service. As Chinese Lunar New Year approaches, we also sampled a few items from their speciality menu.

Chinese Lunar New Year & Specialty Menu

Yue is offering Chinese New Year specials between Jan 20 and Feb 9.

Pork Rib in Special Spicy Sauce 將軍過橋骨: This slow-cooked bone-in rib is bound to impress your guests by its size and presentation. The meat is tender and the flavours are aromatic. In fact, it is not very spicy at all despite the pool of red oil.

Braised Dried Oysters and Dried Black Moss in Bean Sauce 發財好市: A symbolic dish for well wishes and prosperous New Year!

Yue’s Appetizer Platter 鮑粵軒大拼盤: The appetizer platter is great to share for large parties, weddings and banquets. It comes with smoked salmon, jellyfish, baby octopus, surf clams, and braised beef shank.

Fried Squabs 紅燒乳鴿: This little nutritious bird is succulent, juicy and flavourful. It comes presented in an Instagram worthy birdcage too!
