Strathcona Beer Company as the name suggests is located in the Strathcona neighbourhood. At the corner of 895 E Hastings and Campbell Ave is a 12,000 sqft brewery complete with ample seating (long communal tables and diner booths), a pizza station and even a growler takeout area. The windows around the brewery slides open fully for that breezy summer's air to flow through.

My favorite was the smooth Strathcona Gold and the crisp Kolsch.
It's only been a few weeks since Strathcona Beer Company has opened, but everything seems promising. There is definitely no shortage to this craft beer craze in Vancouver! Next time, go and share a pie and some drinks with your friends! It's great to see some life in this neighbourhood that is rapidly transforming.
