Le Westin Montreal Hotel | Old Montreal Quebec Canada - Food Photography | Travel

It's been a busy few months since we were last in Montreal. I've finally gotten around to sorting all my photos from the trip I took with the Food Bloggers of Canada Conference. The trip was valuable and I've a learnt a lot and hope you can prepare for your next conference also! We stayed at Le Westin Montreal - from Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Le Westin Montreal is one of my favorite places to stay in Montreal. Conveniently located at the corner of St. Antoine and St. Pierre in Old Montreal. It is also linked with the Palais des Congrès and the underground city which makes travelling to Montreal in the winter time much easier.

The hotel is a quick 30 to 45 minute cab ride from the airport and has a unique indoor driveaway to keep you from the blistering cold. The glass bottom swimming pool above leads to a nice daylight filled pool.

I always make it a point to relax there when I arrive from the airport. I took about an hour to unwind and have some tea.

The decor is clean and modern. It is comfortable when you step inside. Enough natural sunlight and comfortable seating. We were lucky to get the side with a view of Palais des Congrès.

I like bathrooms with marble and a nice waterfall shower head. Good water pressure and endless hot water is equally important. Plush towels and robes enhances the experience.

Le Westin Montreal is within walking distance to Chinatown, Saint Catherines Street and some serious tourist attractions - Vieux-Montréal and the Old Port. It is also close to restaurants and bars nearby.
