Pink Elephant Thai Vancouver recently just opened a new restaurant at Marine Gateway – 434 S.W. Marine Drive Vancouver. Marine Gateway is such a convenient community with Cineplex Cinemas, T&T, Steve Nash Fitness World, etc. Pink Elephant Thai also has an downtown location on 1152 Alberni Street and is part of Thai House Restaurant Group.

Pink Elephant Thai has a chic pink aesthetics with a clean modern interior. It a good place to dine before/after watching a movie.

Thai Chicken Wings 9: flavors includes Chilli Basil Hot Wings and Red Curry Hot Wings. I like the Basil wings more for the crispy skin and would recommend order medium heat.

Calamari 9.50: Deep fried marinated with Thai spices. The calamari was tender but I found it batter heavy.

Thai Style Pork Cheeks 9.50: I liked these tender BBQ pork jowl. Lightly grilled and marinated with Thai herbs and spices.

Floating Market 9.50: This was an interesting appetizer. It was the first time I had deep fried spinach. Although it was greasy, it was a good vehicle to soak up the sweet spicy dip. Served with tiger prawns and cashew nuts.

Goong Ob Woon Sen 16.95: Tiger prawns with glass noodles in clay pot served with Thai spicy sauce.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][image_with_animation image_url=”17959″ animation=”Fade In” img_link_target=”_self”][vc_column_text]Khao Soi 10.95: Northern Thai Style curry soup noodles served with a crispy noodle topping. Break it apart and mix it into the noodles for an added crunchy texture. This is a lighter curry and if you are looking for more heat you can add some chili oil.

Oxtail Matsaman Curry 15.95: One of my favorite curry at Pink Elephant Thai. The curry is creamy and simmered in coconut curry with onions, potatoes and topped with cashew nuts.

Mango Sticky Rice 8.95: you will love this when mangoes are in season! The sticky rice is cooked with pandan leaves which also leaves a green color.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][image_with_animation image_url=”17963″ animation=”Fade In” img_link_target=”_self”][vc_column_text]

Deep fried banana with mango ice cream 6.95: Everything tastes better with fried dough right? The banana is sweet and the fried batter is crunchy. I didn’t like the mango ice cream much tho. It had a weird flavor that wasn’t mango. The manager tells me that they were looking for a new supplier tho.
