有香 Memory Corner Bubble Tea Restaurant recently opened in Central Richmond across from Richmond Centre. We saw the pretty potted soil bubble tea over instagram and decided we really need to try this.
It is lunch time and this Taiwanese bubble tea restaurant is already getting busy. One can only imagine what it will be like at night. Memory Corner has a lot of milk tea, green tea, fresh juices and drink options. They serve hot pot, soup noodles, thick toasts, deep fried crispy chicken and other snacks worth conversing over.
Deep Fried Cripsy Chicken 5.50: Nice flavoring in the Taiwanese deep fried chicken nuggets. Best valued dish. Not too greasy either.
Soy Marinated Tofu 5.50: regular and nothing special for 5.50.
Prawn and Salmon Roe Fried Rice 9.25: A simple fried rice that is pretty tasty. The salmon roe makes a good texture with the eggs pop.
Milky Fish Soup with angel hair noodles 9.25: A generous portion of bone in fish belly. I like fish soup the clean. But I found the broth too light and needs more depth. Garnished with some diced green onions. My friend said it was rather fishy, but it was ok for me.
Potted Ferrero Rocher Milk Tea 4.75: A semi-sweet milk tea with ground Ferrero Rocher. Decorated with mint leaves for a photogenic soil milk tea.Too Cute. A must try.
Deep Fried Brown Shimeji Mushrooms 5.50: My favorite dish. The abalone mushrooms were not too greasy and was lightly salted.
Chinese Beef Rolls 6.50: Not my favorite and can use some extra flavoring.
I think I will definitely come back for some bubble tea. Service and food is prompt. There are plenty street parking.
