Taipei Railway Station 台北火車站 and Taipei Main Station 台北車站 is one of the main hubs to exchange from Metro to Rail. On our way to Jiu Fen 九份是台灣新北市瑞芳區的一個地區, we had about an hour wait before boarding the train. The Taipei Main Station has a main food court area called the Breeze Center 微風臺北車站 on the second floor and more gift shops on the main floor and basement.
We walked around the area in search of something Taiwanese. Cheesecake and other sweets wasn't a great lunch time meal. Then we came across Kung Fu Noodles 功夫蘭州手拉麵.
A bowl of beef noodles 紅燒牛肉麵 was perfect for this gloomy day. Prices are reasonable at about 150 per bowl ($5 CAD).
A full open kitchen with 4 chefs continuously pouring out bowls of beefy noodles.
Middle of the restaurant hosts a mini fridge with cold appetizers and marinades.
Oxtail with clear broth and goji berries. The noodles were al dente and the meat was tender.
House Beef Brisket Noodles: I like the darker broth with fuller flavors. The meat was tender and cutting noodles perfect.
