Hawksworth Restaurant, for the second year in a row wins Restaurant of the Year 2013 in the category for Best Upscale plus Chef of the Year (2x) for David Hawksworth, The venue is beautiful. It is romantic and charming with their giant chandelier in the Pearl Room. The Roaring Twenties would approve. If you’ve been to dinner here, then you will also want to try their Brunch menu.
Dave took me here for my birthday brunch. It was so nice to spend a day chillaxing by the window cushion bench, people watching and just soaking in everything.

Started the meal off with a Caesar: a heated concoction, well salted rim and nice dense tomato juice.

Pacific Sablefish Benedict 19: Two perfectly yolks that oozes out onto the creamy sablefish as you slice it open. Served with glazed asparagus, tomato, fine herb hollandaise.

Crunchy Duck Salad 22: Sliced duck meat tossed with a variety of spring greens and coated lightly with spicy tamarind, bean sprout, cucumber, taro. The salad is dry and never soggy.
What did I ever do to be so spoiled? Life is good (strikethrough), fan-effing-tastic! Especially when dining at Hawksworth Restaurant!
