Coquille Fine Seafood is restaurant for seafood lovers. It is located in Vancouver Gastown at 181 Carrall Street where Secret Location used to be. This pink restaurant features Millennial pink booth seats that reminds you of Oretta in Toronto and Sketch in London. You may remember local chefs and co-owners Lee Cooper and Jack Chen from L’Abattoir and general manager Liam Todd from Osteria Savio Volpe and Nightingale.
Coquille is open for lunch, happy hour, dinner and late-night drinks seven days a week. Menu focuses on fresh oysters, crudos, fish, shellfish and instagram worthy seafood platters.
Mackeral Crudo 14: bite worthy cucumber and scallions.
Burrata 17: delicious caponata with white anchovy and sourdough.
Red Sea Urchin 6/tongue: By far the creamiest and tastiest uni this season. Topped with salmon roe and seaweed. Priced to sell.
Mussels 19: plumped and juicy with bacon and cider.
Coquille could be my newest favourite restaurant and chic hang out spot. It is perfect for that date night and girls night out. I can’t wait to come back for more.
