The Copper Room at Harrison Hot Springs Resort and Spa is a revisit to the yester-years – Candlelight tables surround the dance floor and live entertainment from the Jones Boys. The Jones Boys has been playing old Elvis and Beatles oldies at The Copper Room for many moons. Having recently changed chefs, The Copper Room features traditional Pacific Northwest menu that is Fraser Valley focused.
Here at The Copper Room you will see sweethearts celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary; newly weds dancing and families having a grand time making new memories.
Diver’s Scallops 18: Slow Roasted Pork Belly & Reduced Apple Cider Infusion. The best dish of the night. Tender and juicy pork with fresh whole scallops.
Black Tiger Prawns 19: Orange Cured Fennel, Fragrant Micro Herbs & Star Anise Vinaigrette. This is a cold appetizer which threw me off by surprise. The prawns were bouncy and had great bite. Unfortunately the citrus flavors were too strong and masked the sweetness of the seafood.
Lobster Tempura 42: Fresh lobster flash friend and glazed with a vanilla bean sauce. Caramelized pumpkin and papaya was interesting and did not quite compliment the lobster. I think I would have enjoyed the Bouillabaisse with some fresh fish, seafood & saffron tomato fish broth more. Next time!
If the blast from the past inside was not enough to bring back fond memories, take a look at the The Copper Room specialty from archived menu. Who wouldn’t like a Double Boneless English Lamp Chop for 4.50? All plated served with garlic bread, baked potatoes, green tossed salad and beverage? I would too enjoy my dinner to the upmost!
