Catfe Vancouver is a Cat Cafe located on the second floor of International Village Mall in Chinatown – “Tinseltown” (above Starbucks). It is Vancouver’s first cat cafe and felines are flying off the shelves! Although this is the first one in Vancouver, Cat Cafes has been popular in Asia for awhile now. To visit, you will need to make reservations to play with the kittens. Current wait time is up to a month. Walk ins are welcome, but space is limited. The cafe will only allow 16 people at a time in the cat lounge. They don’t want to overwhelm the cats.

Catfe is more an adoption clinic than a cafe itself. Customers are really more interested in playing with the cats than they are about a perfect brew. For a $5 fee with any cafe purchase, you can play and pet these fur babies. Otherwise admission is $8.

Catfe’s Visitor’s Guide

If you are interested in adopting and giving these cute kitties a home, there is a board at Catfe for sign ups. Or you can meet the cats here.

Catfe officially opened on December 14, 2015 and it is already quite popular amongst cat lovers.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][image_with_animation image_url=”16801″ animation=”Fade In” img_link_target=”_self”][vc_column_text]

Another great outlet if you are interested to adopt a cat is through Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue.

For me, I’m just waiting for a Dog Cafe to open. I’m dying to play with some Golden Retrievers!
