Le Pichet | 1933 1st Ave, Seattle, WA 98101, United States | +1 206-256-1499 | http://lepichetseattle.com/ |
Sometimes you want to take you date to a superbly delicious but old school French bistro. Le Pichet is the perfect place to throw back a few drinks, kick back and enjoy some housemade charcuterie plate with artisan cheeses, pork pate, and chicken liver terrine. We recommend that intimate booth table by the window. Price ranges from $11 to $19 won’t break the bank either.
Restaurant Marron | 806 E Roy St, Seattle, WA 98102, United States | +1 206-322-0409 | http://www.restaurantmarron.com/ |
A new up and coming fine dining restaurant without the tablecloths and stuffiness. Mismatched cutlery and vintage French pop music line the dining space. The staff are welcoming and incredibly friendly. Chef Eric Sakai changes half the menu daily may have you wondering why you even bothered looking at the menu online. Instead, go grab your sweetheart and be prepared to enjoy a 3 hour Carte Blanche 3 hour dinner over eight to ten courses for $108 to $128. If you prefer a short meal so you two can head of dancing consider the Haute Cuisine Prix Fixe menu plus dessert for #39. A bonus? They serve Blue Bottle Coffee from Oakland.
Altura Restaurant | 617 Broadway E, Seattle, WA 98102, United States | +1 206-402-6749 | http://www.alturarestaurant.com/ |
Altura Restaurant offers and Italian menu with natural bounty of the Pacific Northwest. Wild foraged products, local seafood and raised meats and vegetables. Chef Nathan Lockwood and his team are serious about delivering masterfully crafted food and ingredients to your table. The dishes are impeccable. The $137 Tasting Menu is almost a must to sample five main entrees with a series of amuse bouche and appetizers you do not want to miss out. Their Papardelle pasta and risotto are amazing! So is their Corn Panna Cotta with truffles. They say, the key to the women’s heart is good food. Believe me. It is true.

Restaurant Roux | 4201 Fremont Ave N, Seattle, WA 98103, United States | +1 206-547-5420 | http://restaurantroux.com/ |
Craving for Southern food and French creole inspired cuisine. Roux is a spin off from Matt Lewis’ truck Where Ya At Matt? The food is incredible with bold flavors, unique and memorable. You two will be reminiscing over the delicious meal you both shared. The restaurant itself is laid-back, open bar concept with plenty of booth seating along the walls. We recommend sharing lots: Crispy pig ear with blue cheese and buffalo sauce, Fried gizzards, Louisiana Frog Legs, and Blackened Cod to name a few. Throw back a mint Julep and some Bourbon. Restaurant Roux opens late night.

Caffe Vita Coffee Roasting Company, is a coffee roasting company in Seattle, Washington that we recently grew very fond of. We were recently sent a Caffe Vita’s holiday blend coffee beans. I am in love. Caffe Vita has been on our radar for some time now. It is one of the top 10 coffee shops in Seattle.
Caffe Vita’s holiday blend features three exceptional coffees that were sourced during their travels this past year. Each of these coffees is remarkable in their own right, but as a blend they complement each other to create a balanced and complex cup that is well suited for holiday drinking – spicy, sweet, and slightly toasty, with flavors of chocolate, cherry, and clove.
A naturally processed yellow bourbon lot from Monte Verde in Brazil provides a dried cherry sweetness, along with subtle oak and vanilla notes. The washed, high-grown caturra by Rafael Brixius in Fraijanes, Guatemala, contributes dark chocolate and subtle citrus notes, while our Ethiopian Lelisa Hara lot adds understated florals and an intriguing spice.
Celebrate the season with Caffe Vita’s limited edition Holiday Blend, the perfect complement to your family gatherings.
A morning brew on a French Press with double baked pain au chocolate with hazelnut cream makes one heck of a morning! Long live strong nutty coffee!
Caffe Vita is located conveniently on Pike, but not obnoxiously near the market. I’m a big fan for their Cafe Luna coffee blend of nuttiness and earthy tones. Gayo River single origin is also quite nice. Come here if you are looking for a serious full flavored latte or espresso. The Capital Hill location has a coffee roaster in the back of this two story cafe. Free Wifi.

Le Panier Bakery Seattle. This a little bakery beside Starbucks in Pike Place. While hundreds poor into the Starbucks mothership waiting, I slip into Le Panier Bakery Seattle for a cup of espresso, macaroons and palmier. Sometimes I wonder what the fuss next door […]
Working on Sunday, starting at 5AM is not to shabby when you are watching Seattle Seahawks vs New England Patriots. This is an unique occupation. Headed for Seattle to watch big guys throw pig skin around. Exciting! This experience for this NBA guy […]
This is the Mothership of all Starbucks, the Mecca of them all. Starbucks Seattle Pike Place is where it all began. Where a cup of regular Joe became a cult or a status class. Where 5 bux for a latte is the standard.
Starbucks Seattle Pike Place coffee shop is located in Pike Place Fish Market and has become a tourist icon. Line ups are out the door and bus loads pour in to take a picture of the infamous sign, mugs and souvenirs where Miss Mermaid still hasn’t put on any clothes. If you are not anywhere near Starbucks Pike Place, you can still buy some Starbucks Pike Place Medium Roast here! It is perfect for the everyday coffee!
But aside from buying such items, I can not justify waiting in line for 30+ mins to get a cup of Grande Dark or you Skinny Double Ristretto Venti Half-Soy Nonfat Decaf Organic Chocolate Brownie Iced Vanilla Double-Shot Gingerbread Frappuccino Extra Hot With Foam Whipped Cream Upside Down Double Blended, One Sweet’N Low and One Nutrasweet, and Ice. This stuff isn’t made of fairy dust just because it came from the Starbucks Seattle Pike Place flagship shop!

PLUOY (People Love Us On Yelp) stickers are kind of a big deal, so maybe that’s why we were drawn to Pike Place Chowder Seattle in Post Alley. Pike Place Chowder has another location on Pacific Place 600 Pine St, Seattle… The 4.5 stars shop was closed […]
