We were recently introduced to Matt and Steve’s The Extreme Bean products such as The Extreme Bean™ Hot & Spicy is a pickled bean, Extreme Bean Garlic & Dill and some B’nOlive. Matt and Steve asked if we would create a drink recipe featuring one of their products and we thought that this was a fun idea… especially with the holidays coming up!
If you are familiar with the Pickleback, then you will where I am coming from. It is a fun bar or house party drinks. For those unfamiliar, a Pickleback is a shot of whiskey is immediately chased by a shot of pickle brine! Disgusting? No! On the contrary it is shockingly good! The pickle brine wash leaves a snappy tanginess that curls up with notes of smokiness of bourbon.
Pickled Whiskey Sour Recipe
- 1.5 oz whiskey
- 0.5 oz Matt & Steve’s B’nOlive brine juice
- 1/2 lime juice
- Mix everything together
- Add ice
- Garnish with Matt & Steve’s B’nOlive
Eat a few olives while you are at it!
