Chances are if you love a good dirty burger than you’ve been to Campagnolo Upstairs on Main Street where Robert Belcham has been serving up one of Vancouver’s “Best Burgers”. These Dirty Burgers were selling out every night. Soon, it rebranded to the Monarch Burger at The American.
The American seats 150 people and offers pinball machines, foosball and a great place to watch the game and have a few drinks.
The menu focus is simple – cheeseburgers, double cheeseburgers, poutine, kale caesars, veggie burgers and fries. Beef is aged 45 days and comes from local farmers. Customize your burger with add on options like bacon, fried egg, cheese, fried onions or gravy. The burger is then completed with crisp lettuce, seasoned tomatoes, signature pickles and their “special sauce”.
Our Monarch Burger is completed with double bacon, fried egg and fried onions.
So next time if you are craving a juicy ass burger, come get a Monarch Burger. Feeling healthy, order a kale salad with a garlicky cheese sauce. The leaves are soft and requires minimal chewing. And the fries? Pretty crispy although a tad salty.
