So where exactly is “Strathcona“? Strathcona resides within the historic boundaries of Clark Drive, Gore Avenue, Venables Street and Railway Street. Strathcona is generally recognized as Vancouver’s oldest residential neighborhood. Strathcona is quickly emerging as the new business hub in Vancouver. It is growing with some of the best Vancouver restaurants such as: Cuchillo, Ask For Luigi, The Union Bar, The Parker, Kessel and March, and even Phnom Penh. Strathcona is home to over 500 businesses populate the area, making it a stable and celebrated local community where independent businesses are coming to thrive. Alongside some of Canada’s most well-known brands such as Herschel Supply Company and Aritzia. Hey, I picked up my Mackage leather moto jacket for my engagement photos there too!
So what happened on the Made In Strathcona Media Tour? We first became at AGRO Cafe to talk shop about coffee. AGRO stands for Agricultural. Growers, Resource. Organization. Founder and CEO Blake Hanacek opened the doors to A.G.R.O. Cafe & Roasting House in October 2006. Blake cups every bag of coffee spends alot of time on the roaster. A Dark Roast bean contains more caffeine than a Light Roast bean due to its stronger flavor? False. Light Roast actually has more caffeine!
Next stop was The Butler Did It Catering Co 620 Clark Dr, Vancouver, BC V5L 3H8 (604) 739-3663. For as long as I remembered, my company is a client Butler Catering.
