Perhaps you were even charmed by their this opulent casual fine dining has a bit of luxurious persona… But can they also seduce you during a hot summer’s day and all you want is to catch some rays while indulging on a cocktail and a few bites?
On the other side of Richmond from Blue Canoe in Steveston, we have Chop. Chop’s patio is polished with a LA / Vegas vibe: High-top cushioned patio sectionals, umbrellas, fire pit and an open bar. The huge planters surrounds the space to mask the city life… One of the best patios in Richmond, I could sit here for hours and forget about work.
Fresh Ahi Tuna Salad
Flavorful Ahi tuna served on tender butterleaf lettuce and lightly minted wild mushroom salad with lime vinaigrette and wasabi cheese toast. I like adding avocados to my salads because I like the extra added fat (good fat). It is more filling.
We saw the folks table adjacent to us ordering this. Initially just quenching my thirst with Vancouver’s finest H20, I caved. I couldn’t resist the pretty girlie looking drink. I don’t drink on the job, so I ordered myself a virgin version. Equally good. Equally refreshing.
Come early during lunch as this place fills up fast. But remember to bring your sunnies!
