Dockside Seafood Restauraunt located in Granville Island, Vancouver. It was a sunny day despite the sub-zero frosty temperature. We wanted to stroll along Granville Island for a date day. We love to check out the shops, drink coffee and have brunch.
The view at Dockside was beautiful and service was prompt.
Dockside Butter Lettuce Cobb $17: grilled chicken breast, crisp bacon, born 3 egg, baby heirloom tomato, fresh avocado, blue cheese.
The Dockside Burger $17: hand formed certified angus chuck, onion herb kaiser, smoked bacon, aged white cheddar, house cut fries. This was a bit of a let down. The bun was bone chilling cold. The second attempt at fixing this also failed. They simply slapped the burger and the fried egg together in the oven. The result: over-cooked egg and beef patty.
I must say I was quite disappointing. Our server was helpful. She took care of the burger from our bill. Thank goodness. I would have been quite furious otherwise.
