You’ve asked! Starbucks answered! Starting February 17, Starbucks will officially offer Sumatra coconut milk as a second non-dairy option to soy milk. So all you Paleo and Vegan diet lovers rejoice!

Soy Milk has been used as an dairy replacement for people who are lactose intolerant for many years now. However, soy milk contains compounds that mimic the effects of estrogen hormone in the body. Some people prefer to stay away to avoid the of estrogen levels.

As we predicted, the coconut milk trend is strong. And anything with coconut milk, coconut water, coconut oil is super popular and for good reasons!

Starbucks says on their official blog that they are proud to launch “the rich creaminess of coconut milk is the best compliment to our hot, iced and Frappuccino® beverages with none of the allergens of almond milk.”

I’m super excited about my Cafe Americano Misto at Starbucks with coconut milk! Are you?
