Water is water, carbonated, spring, distilled, tap, and boiled. At the end of the day, the variety does not make that much of a difference. This is a bold comment coming from the coffee foodies household. We spend $10-15 on purchasing water a week while we’re out, because apparently Pellegrino taste better. We’re big contributors to the $60 billion sales in the bottled water industry. Enter Boxed Water, a small fish entering a tank full of sharks. This bottled water is unique, given the fact that the water is not bottled. The concept behind this was being eco-friendly. Stats show that bottled water produces 1.5 million tons of garbage each year. While Boxed Water uses recycled products to produce. They are also setting aside some of the proceeds to charity helping the cause.
The water itself is carbon filtered water, which means that it’s not much different than just regular tap water.
I would love to see this at the retailers around Vancouver. I’m not sold on the product yet because it won’t fit in my cup holder. This might interest you to do your part for the environment. After all, driving around town in a Prius is not the only solution.
