Valentine’s is quickly approaching. Although I feel it is another commercialized day full of gimmicks to sucker our hard earned dollars, it is always a great day to celebrate with some special chocolates. Last year, Dave got me a box of these sinfully delicious signature ganache-filled chocolates from BETA5 Chocolates. They are made fresh and finished with a hand-painted touch.
What is Beta5 Chocolates you ask?
Atomically speaking it is the form-5 beta crystal structure is the most stable form of cocoa butter crystallization, formed through the controlled melting, and subsequent cooling (tempering) of liquid chocolate.
BETA5 chocolates “are produced in small batches using ethically sourced estate chocolates and premium ingredients. Careful alignment of the BETA5 matrix results in our chocolates’ distinctive shine and crisp snap.” End result? smooth and creamy with subtle flavours.
