Au Comptoir Kitsilano Dinner | Vancouver Parisien Cafe

Au Comptior in Kitsilano seems to be all the craze lately. Brunch avec Paree style is a must. We couldn’t resist to start the day with a cafe au lait and a pain au chocolate.

We had a delightful Brunch a short while back and had to come back to try Au Comptoir’s dinner menu. After all, it is close to the beach where we could talk a stroll to work off all the calories.

SALADE VERCINGÉTORIX 12: Deliciously wrapped baby gem lettuce, garlic vinaigrette, lemon, soft-poached egg, gruyère. I liked the added anchovies for a bite of saltiness.

ASSIETTE DE CHARCUTERIE 18: house and artisan cured meats and pate served with bread and gerkhins. We particularly liked the pate with some dijon mustard.

SAUMON À L’ UNILATÉRAL 24: pan seared salmon, tagliatelle, tarragon beurre blanc. The salmon had a nice crisp skin and yet still moist and tender inside. Al dente pasta completed this dish.

CARRÉ D’AGNEAU 35: medium rare roasted rack of lamb, crushed peas, potato rosti, artichoke.

Daily fresh dessert from the rotating glass display. They all looked so exquisite. It was hard to just pick one.
