49th Parallel Coffee Roasters is an independent coffee shop in Vancouver. If you aren’t a big Starbucks or Timmie’s fan and prefer supporting your local roasters, this is the place for you. The Tiffany blue mugs are fab and their coffee is strong. I even dig their dark wood finished and their royal blue menu. I think I watch too much Property Brothers! On days when Elysian, Gene Cafe or Revolver seems too far, 49th offers a few shops around town.
Latte: The medium roast was smooth and silky and had a good milk : coffee ratio.
Americano: a bitter strong espresso with too much acidity that is bound to wake up even the most nocturnal cat. But unfortunately, it’s not my favorite brew for sure.
49th Parallel Coffee Roasters is always jam action packed but luckily we came near closing on a Sunday. Most people probably left to cook dinner. Glad I’m having dinner at Maenam Thai.
